Scope Signalling and Communication Systems

EXPLANATION
The scope of the project is the application of signalling and telecommunication systems to the 112 km Afyon – Karakuyu line. The operational purpose of the project is to maintain the traffic safety and maintenance of the single line. This line is suitable for trains with speeds up to 160km/h.
The project has been the first National Signalling System in Turkey. The work will be done with the cooperation of TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). The development and production of signalling systems in Turkey will increase vastly within this project, thanks to the Turkish State Railways.
